LIVE AT THE LAS PALMAS THEATRE
JUNE 3RD, 1995 IN LA by VIRTUAL NIGHT ANGEL
The Electric Hellfire Club is extraordinary, using green lighting moodscapes
& snapping beam wheels of fright. The mood was set with evil-minded
lyrics, great choreography, and the performance of the EHC's lead vocalist
Thomas Thorn. Sabrina Satana's sweet vocals and demonic/egyptian style dancing
heightened the ultimate ominous atmosphere. Energetic Richard Frost on percussion,
the Diabolical Rev. Dr. Luv on keyboards, and Contriving Gregor Mephisto
on guitar entertained well in this mischievous excursion. Each song was
an exceptional, soothing satanic beat.
The EHC sang from their newest CD, "Kiss The Goat", and previous CDs, "Burn Baby Burn", and "Satan's Little Helpers".
THE ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB 1994
At the strike of midnight, The Electric Hellfire Club entranced their LA audience at the Sin-A-Matic on February 26th, 1994.
Touring their debut CD, "Burn, Baby, Burn", featuring Thomas
Thorn (aka Buck Ryder) from My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. Praying in
the name of Satan certainly doesn't attract the weak. Our Leader Thomas
Thorn invokes the Kingdom of Darkness.
Thomas Thorn wore appropriete attire with a big
horned pope hat and robe. It was perfect lighting, giving a magical atmosphere.
Dressed in all black and a pair of horns, keyboardist, Rev. Dr. Luv mesmerized
the audience. Sabrina Satana performed her hellish dancing with style and
grace.
The music vibrated through our bodies and the floor. Sabrina's dancing was contagious and Thomas began whipping the crowd. Exciting heavy beats from outstanding drummer, Richard Frost. Ronny Baleo, guitarist for the Burn, Baby, Burn CD accompanied the EHC impressing the hell out of us! All this, with the special technical and immoral support provided by Otto Mattix.
The Electric Hellfire Club is something truly fun, mixed with real talent.
THE DEVASTATING TRUTH
SHANE (REV. DR. LUV)
I give my sympathy to the Electric Hellfire Club, and all who loved
and appreciated Rev. Dr. Luv.
Shane Lassen passed away from injuries sustained in a fatal car accident
on Sunday, January 21st, 1996.
Dr. Rev. Luv. was a founding member, co-writer and keyboardist for The Electric
Hellfire Club. Shane was the first member of the Electric Hellfire Club
to contact me by phone almost two years ago in 1994. Thanksgiving 1995 was
the last time I got to see Shane, the only time I've talked to him in person
and hugged him.
I believe Shane is in the ultimate place, I believe he is the creator of his own ideal destiny. Shane's soul will live on, especially in The Electric Hellfire's music.
Watch for the Electric Hellfire Club on up-coming tours.
