Infected Rain resistablish their empire with a new album and a massive tour. The Moldovan quartet return with a full media overload: music videos, albums, and most poignant - a tour to show everyone how absolutely amazing their focum, Lena Scissorhands is in person.

A consumate performer, an amazing singer, and she is also (and maybe most importantly to me) a great lyricist. She is able to perfectly encapsulate the love I have for the Light and the Dark, both in verse and in execution.

She commanded the audience from the moment she stepped on stage. She asked them to do things which I was very surprised to see them obey. At one point she asked everyone to sit down on the floor.... and they DID! They sat down on the floor with all the spilt booze (and who knows what)!

She got two pretty serious "walls of death" going - for the Whisky, and had a song where she asked everyone to crowd surf to the stage and she promised a Hi-5 when they got there... and even brought out her own security dudes to safely lift the surfers up and escort them off stage.

Visual appeal and awesome performance antics aside, they sounded absoultely perfect. The chugging base of Alice Lane, the intense guitar assualt of fouding member Vidick, combined with the blasting rhytms of Eugen Voluta were absolutely on-point. Without the amazing music behind it all, nothing would matter.

They played a full set packed with new material but still fitting in all of their founding fan-winners. Lena is very cordial with the audience as well as commanding, when she spoke it felt like it came from the heart. The range of Lena's character and delivery is amazing and everyone was in rapture.
